INTRODUCTION
Orrostakórr came to be from humble beginnings, it was firstly used as test at Lyngvi Farm to evaluate a Fen's movement under saddle or in tandem with a handler and their obedience, and only if a Fen passed this trial they would train in dressage movements.
The addition of trick movements were introduced by a member of staff of Kosovar descent in 1945; The Lokason family saw the merit, and thus the third part seen in present day Orrostakórr was added.
Orrostakórr is from the Norse; 'Orrosta' meaning 'battle' and 'kórr' meaning 'rhythm'. The name is widely believed to come from the origins of dressage movement
